I don't interfere with Dianne's staff
Aug 11 2009

I really didn’t want to inject Gary’s cheeks with Radiesse for the open house. He is sometimes unprofessional and frankly didn’t deserve it. But, he put me on the spot and begged relentlessly. So, in a weak moment I caved and gave him a gentle cheek plumping.

I do like Gary as a person, but I’m shocked by his behavior. My hands are tied though because Gary and all the Spa staff are employees of Dianne. And I promised Dianne that I would not interfere with her running of the Medical Spa. So, I really don’t have much say over them.

Oh, for all those asking: No, I did not do ANY surgery on Dianne or her staff. Another doctor gets credit for the face, lips, and breasts!

I was on the 2nd episode, which I did not get to see because I do not get the Oxygen Network on my cable. I have been getting calls from across the country from people who know me. Dr. Lee gave me a new look 8 years ago, and to this day people think I am 15 years younger than I am. He is an artist. Kuddo's to the staff and crew, and especially to you, Dr. Lee. You are awesome!!

Yahoo Fru! I couldn't agree more. As a recent patient (breast, nose, eyes) i can say that my experience at Changes with Dr. Lee, Mel, and Katie was amazing. The show is hysterical. I really love it and i'm not just saying that because your my guy. But, i know there is a lot of drama for TV among the other staff. Your true colors shine through. your a great doctor and it shows thru the craziness they show on tv.

As a former patient I was so shocked to see the way your practice is being portrayed. You, Mel and your real staff are such kind and genuine people. Quite frankly I would have been frightened to step food in the door if I would have seen this show years ago. I do hope people who are looking for a truly gifted plastic surgeon do not get turned off by this show. You have changed my life for the better and I know you have done the same to countless others. Hopefully, the show will concentrate more on the incredible work you do verses this ridiculous circus act these people are putting on for a TV show.

I see that from the Changes web site that Dr. Lee spent time in St. Louis, Diane's home town. If he really wants to get a reference on her (MG probably not a good ref), he should consult with her other ex-husbands. Yes, Diane is in her late fifties.

Before the show aired I considered going to see you for a breast lift and augmentation.....now I WOULD NEVER!!! To see what goes on behind the scene in your office makes me nauseous! There are way too many great offices in LA JOLLA not Carmel Valley....I hope you can be objective enough to see how this will effect your business.

Hmmmm....I have managed a large practice in New York and if I had this kind of circus going on we would have closed down. Your reputation is top notch..........but, why would you have the plastic surgery gone wrong postergirl working for you..........honestly, it gives your skills, professionalism and business sense a waste of time..........if she stays around I don't think you are going to maintain what your goals are.

This show and staff makes your practice look ridiculous. Melanie and yourself appear to be the only ones who have any sense of professionalism at all. Dianne looks terrible and her face is not a good representation of your business, thank god you didn't do that to her.

When I first saw that Gary asked for those injections, I thought he was being extremely narcissistic (sp?) and going overboard but in the end, it did make a noticeable difference that I thought looked good for him. His use of so much lipgloss is a different story though lol but given that he is gay and he is more of the "feminine" type, I can understand his obsession with lipgloss.

Yes Im glad you pointed that fact out. You didnt do the surgery on Dianne. LOL. The other staff is ok, but a professional should have never went as far as her ps did!! That was unprofessional. He just made a laughingstock of her.

Your breast augmentation on the Marine was amazing! She looked very natural! I may be consulting you for my own procedures! Thanks Dr Lee for your professionalism!

Dr Lee.....this is so going to ruin your reputation if you had a good one. Show is so vapid... entertaining yes but if these represent your practice, it will keep people away in droves. They are so "overdone" and "pulled".. not a good advertisement for plastic surgery

This was a better show. I was glad to see Dr. Lee's practice as there is where the real professionalism is. Great job with the patients. Thank you for showing who you are.

I love this show! I like a doctor who admits he's tried his magic on himself and probably before he tried it on anybody else. You lost my surgeon some money, though - I don't like the smoothness of fillers, so will stick with lights.

Hello Dr. Lee I like that you keep your job looking very porfessional, but Diane is just a hot mess. I think you need to have a talk with her because she is disrepecting the staff alot and it dose not look right at all, and plus your the doctor you should really keep her on the hook for now. (She has alot of behavior problems!)

Dr. Lee gets out now. You and your team looks like fools and Dianne's team is nothing but a HOT MESS. They all seem very incompetent from not knowing what's in a product to how to meet and greet customer's. Hire professionals in their fields, not Dianne's personal friends. Very bad business judgement on your part. Did you see the dig about your show in People magazine this week? Not complimentary at all.

As the Owner and Physician your hands are not tied, or are you saying Diane makes your medical decisions for you? That is truly a scary thought for any of your patients! .............................................Dr. Lee stated by you in the first episode Diane's job is to bring in her connections.... This speaks volumes regarding what your willing to sacrifice for your business goals. As for your credibility, your skills as a surgeon are not what I dispute, that point is irrelevant. WHAT IS: The fact that this site mentions you as never touching anyone who in your opinion is not a viable candidate for procedures if they present as someone who is overdone. Your credibility and integrity fell flat the moment we watched you injected Diane with filler. Clearly an overdone woman not only by my standards but by 80% of the public commenting on this site. As you consider her a viable candidate, you may want to consult the studys done by your constituants regarding the increased depression and suicide rates of those who undertake multiple surgery enhancing procedures. Diane is an at risk patient, I might add she is now YOUR at risk patient. We ARE watching. (ps. NOT a hater I have been in this wonderful industry, different state, for 15+ years)
