Dr. Lee the way Dianne speaks to her staff is very inprofesssional. When you work at a company you spend half your life their so it would be nice if they acted more like a family. when push comes to shove thats what they are wheather it be blood or not. I love your show but Dianne is just out of control especially with natasha and the rest of the crew. Shannon needs to consider everyones feelings and not just side with Dianne all the time. When you work together as a family your practice will not suffer. And the lady that puts the numbers together the billing lady she so needs to really be more happier and less sour with her life and people around her. Yes their is a time to play and be serious but it nice when you can be at work and enjoy what you r doing when people are more understanding and loving toward one another. P.s. lol!!!! I am coming to your practice to get a tummy tuck and a boob job. lol!!! I hope that your staff can fix their problems and Dianne can also fix her problems also with being more loving and understanding. Point blank she is in NEED of a MAN!

Most patients are hesitant to be on camera, elective surgery is a very personal thing and we respect that. You cannot televise patients in your lobby dumb a**.....there is such a thing as HIPAA regulations.

The 1st episode was awful... AWFUL! The 2nd episode was a little better. The show last week was better again and actually interesting. Tonight's show hooked me, and now I want that face mask!

Dr Lee has never operated on her face. She had her facelift PRIOR to meeting Dr Lee. Thought that was obvious!

Why does everyone hate!!! Dianne has overcome all you vipers and brought a BRILLIANT show to La Jolla that not only is comedy, but medically educates on the reality of how life enhancing Plastic Surgery is. She cares about her employees feelings and goes out of her way in all this to give them her support. She believes in her choices and she is a good person. Grateful for those loyal to her is all I see with moving Gary and not firing him!!! Where is she anything but gracious? She Built the Medical Spa industry with her hard work and talent in bringing beauty to another level. Dianne is the best thing to happen to La Jolla!

I dont think I have ever laughed as hard as I do when I watch this comedy. This show is amazing! The two queens, of course I mean the little boys, make every episode. Thanks for the smiles and keep the drama going.

Let me say this first and foremost, I have uptmost respect for you and what you do Dr. Lee. Your staff is amazing and your professional relationship with your clients is amazing. I have a new found respect for the plastic surgery world thanks to you and your show. Dianne and her staff definitley make the show super crazy and funny, however, you and your staff are what keep your business afloat. I just pray someday that you will give some viewing member the lucky privlege to be on your show because I will do whatever it takes to be on it. I need your help desperately. The amazing impact that you have on these women after you do your work, AMAZING. The way you help to raise their selfesteem. I can only hope to be so lucky some day. Keep up the amazing work.

Dr. Lee: Two words: Man up.

Dr. Lee: anyone who lives in San Diego (especially La Jolla) and has dealt with Dianne in any capacity (business, social, or spa practice) knows that she is a cartoon character lving in a self induced fantasy world. She is clinically narcistic and her actions serve only her self serving interests. Frankly, it is suprising that you did not do your research on her. Get rid of her before you end up in multiple lawsuits ( probably too late). Just ask Mitch.

Dr. Lee I can see your only looking out for you practice, Dianne may need to step to the plate somewhat. But you do have to admit Dianne's staff are comedy! I think they make the show a hit. I do have to agree with "Glam" your staff does need a makeover. Dianne's Staff are very well dressed and groomed nicely. That manager of yours does need a serious makeover(bigtime). Hi Dr. Lee, You have a hit reality comedy on your hands, not a successful medical spa. From a business persective you have to figure if the national exposure you are getting is worth keeping the ridiculous spa staff. Forme it is definitely keep the ridiculous staff since they are SO over the top bad. If they were mine most would get the heave ho. But, with the popularity of the biggest offenders, Gary and Diane, you have a decision to make. Keep them and the ratings or get rid of them and lost people like me, who would be bored with your old professional staff. They are good but not comedy material. Just my two cents.

The foolery makes for funny TV, yet does not promote the business. I can't see how you can have both. Who wants to watch a boring show about a professionally run business? Who wants to do business with "The Three Stooges"? Is there a happy medium where both venues could be successful? Maybe. First, let Dianne go. Her appearance does not promote your business and she obviously cannot lead. I believe the rest of the staff would fall into line if they had a decent leader (and they are funny which promotes the TV aspect). You can be entertaining and productive. Rachel Ray is an example. She is very entertaining, but doesn't run around set like an idiot. I think Natasha should be given the chance to manage the spa side (she knows the business and seems to care). Shannyn should go too. The guys are funny and knowledgable in regard to spa procedures...they just need their hineys whipped.....shape up or ship out as they say. Good Luck!

Dr. Lee and Team, You signed with a reality show and this is the aftermath. If you are serious about running a business and the image you portray, I would suggest whoever Dr. Lee had managing his phone and reception area, BEFORE the "medical spa" group arrived, get back up front. The fact that someone from the surgical practice side and the medical spa side could balance each other. Once it becomes onesided in effort at the front, the dead weight should be cut loose. Even if they are awesome at sales and the clients love them. Any consultant would advise you that to put that much stress and responsibility for another person's inaction or poor work ethic eventually leads to low morality for your team and the begining of the downfall of what may have become a sucessful business venture. I wish you all the luck, but seriously, so much drama is not good for anyone or any business.

Dr. Lee: As a former practice manger that worked with Dianne at SpaMD allow me to share some lessons learned. It was common knowledge that Dianne was a danger to the business end of the practice and the management staff's main job was to essentially do damage control for the havoc this women creates through poor staffing, extravagent spending and constant lawsuits. Whatever you do keep her away from any practice assets and do not give her any authority to sign contracts...you will be paying for it for months and years to come if you are not careful

Dr. Lee, it's your business too. If I walked in and saw that tacky sign reading "Ring bell for service," and no one up front, I'd lock the door and call an emergency meeting. I'd throw the sign on the floor and say I know I did not just come in and see that sign! If I or my manager hear the phone ring more than twice one more time whoever is suppose to be responsible for the front will be immediately fired. No more "I'm sorry" you are all hereby warned. Am I right Dianne? Then I'd stare at her. I've hired some secret shoppers, if the front is messy again someone will be fired. Those secret shoppers will tell me if someone is messing up. Right Dianne? I've also had installed a key stroke recorder for the computers. Everyone must now sign into the computers. One more non-work related search on a computer and that person assigned to that computer will be fired. No food up front period! If I see food anywhere but in the kitchen that food will be tossed and you will be fired. No more excuses, we are a business not your flop house. I and Dianne will be doing spot checks throughtout the day of the front. One more file on the counter and that person that pulled that file will be fired. Did I make myself perfectly clear? Am I right Dianne? Then unlock the door and go to my office.

I'm sure the show will help your buisness..BUT Diane is not holding up her side of the bargain. I doubt that you will dissolve the "partnership" because its Diane and her staff that keep viewers watching.As horrible as they are,they are giving your pratice more visibility ie the wonders of Reality Television. lets face it nobody is tuning in to see your staff or practice for that matter...its the characters Diane has bought in that makes people want to watch. Diane being the Biggest character of all!

Save your practice before it's too late! But.. get your original staff a complete make over before you do!

Now that you've taken that route- which you did to boost your business and I'm sure it has- just embrace it. Let's face it, Diane and her staff -or shall I say Gary- make that whole show! I have been a corporate manager -- and owned my own business. From this experience, I would fire GARY immediately; stick to what you told Dianne in your meeting; ensure that spa staff is being properly supervised to actually WORK while on the clock and have professional attitudes and wardrobe. The current environment might make entertaining TV, but I'd still enjoy watching YOUR part of the practice with a well managed spa salon.

I like the fact that Dianne didn't fire Gary, i'm agree withe her before getting rid of someone u have to try to move this employee to another dept and give him a chance

Dissolve this partnership before Dianne and her half-baked staff drags your practice down the tubes. Natasha is the only one who seems to take her job seriously and deserves better than babysitting Dianne.
