Last week, Natasha and Dianne had a falling out. I did my best to talk to both Dianne and Natasha to try to get them to work out their differences. It is really frustrating because it seems like they both allow themselves to get too caught up in their own egos to ever see the big picture. Natasha has said that she feels like I am in competition with Dianne, but the truth is those two are always in a competition as to who is going to be the bigger princess. I am just trying to keep the business running efficiently. Natasha thinks everything should revolve around her or she doesn't want to be a part of what is going on. While Dianne thinks she can do anything she wants and not be accountable because it is her spa. They are both too narcissistic to understand the concept of "team". While I understand Dianne is my boss, it also needs to be said that she owes it to her staff to give them enough respect to do their job and not sabotage it every step of the way with selfish behavior.

It seemed to me the staff was becoming more and more frustrated that they couldn't express themselves without being attacked. I decided to make comment boxes and put them in the break room. This way everyone could have the opportunity to say what was on his or her mind. We all decided to go to Jack's and read the comments. I think we had some tense moments, but overall I think everyone enjoyed the evening. It helped ease the tension in the office...a little.
